windstruck
you guys know what windstruck is? it's an almost-two-hour korean film and im actually addicted to korean films and television shows now hehe maybe it's because of their love stories which end up with a character dying... pretty sad right? i'm just tired of watching movies and tv shows with the happily-ever-after theme. most filipino films aim to leave the viewers with that kilig-to-the-bones factor but this korean film makes you kilig at first but leaves you somewhat depressed, wishing for another ending, in the end:) that's my kind of movie
if you saw my sassy girl, the cute girl in windstruck is that sassy girl:) don't know her name though but she's kyungjin in the movie. and the guy's name in the movie is myungwoo. the movie's a romantic comedy with a tinge of drama.
the movie used a very effective technique too because before the story started, it already showed what was going to happen, being narrated by myungwoo. and you will definitely wonder why that happened... Also, the songs (like knockin' on heaven's door) they used fit the scenes and they really spice up the emotions in it.. movement and angles of the camera also added spark to the film:)
kyungjin's a cop and the movie started off with myungwoo, a physics teacher, getting caught by kyungjin because she thought myungwoo's the snatcher; and after that clearly-not-a-love-at-first-sight incident, their funny relationship started. They met again because myungwoo needed to supervise his students on a field trip to the red-light district and his partner, guess who? kyungjin:)
they fell in love and knew each other better but they didn't end up getting married. its up to you to guess what happened... its kinda sad though and you'll know why the movie was given the name windstruck...
the movie's really worth it because of all the not so used incidents in the film. it's worth all the peso you will shed out watching the movie. i promise you. if you want a movie that will make you laugh, cry, and fall in love, this is what you're looking for.. i also found out the korean word for "bitch" but i can't write it, i can only pronounce it.
go on, watch it:) you have the whole vacation to get a copy and watch it with your baby, honey, by, cupcake, buttercup, whatever you call your gf/bf hehehe
her name is kyungjin. yeo kyungjin. i feel strange just saying her name. she has something special that no one else can touch. it's a dream of any man to go traveling with a woman he loves. i wished for that too, and we did go on for a trip. however, my fate...
